Long-Term Running Goals:

My long term goal is to run forever with my wife. We started this sport together two and a half years ago and I just enjoy sharing the pains, rewards, and health with her. Running has really fueled our relationship. It has really created something we both love and can share with each other.

Personal:

I am married to my favorite running partner. We have two young kids (6 and 4) so our training usually is a juggling act.

Headed to the gym this morning for a long run. I would have loved to be outside for it, but with my IT giving me fits yesterday, I wanted to play it safe in case I needed to stop.  I felt really good for the most part. About mile 12 to 16 I felt it a little bit but nothing major. I can work it over all weekend now and rest it so I'm hoping it's going to be o.k.  Ran the entire run next to Marlin which was good for the company and support. Made the run rather enjoyable.

Missed you in the wind and cold this morning but I'm glad to see your knee held up. I know I twinge everytime I get something not quite right. Great week of running.

Great run, I am glad the knee cooperated and is hopefully not a big deal.

Great mileage this week, you are on track for a great Boston.
